Echoes of Venus

About The Book

Echoes of Venus

Echoes of Venus is a science fiction novel that blends advanced science with deeply personal storytelling. The book examines what happens when technology outpaces compassion and when creation becomes detached from accountability. Set across alien environments and controlled research spaces, the novel uses its setting to reinforce themes of isolation, observation, and control.

At the heart of the story is a human perspective placed within an unfamiliar structure of authority. The protagonist must exist within a reality shaped by beings who view life through logic rather than empathy. This contrast highlights the tension between efficiency and care, questioning how decisions are justified when survival becomes the reasoning.

The book also explores identity through characters who exist outside conventional definitions of humanity. Language, memory, and emotional development play critical roles in shaping selfhood. Relationships evolve slowly, shaped by trust, fear, and protection rather than convenience.

Rather than relying on constant action, the narrative gives space to conversation, silence, and reflection. The result is a story that prioritizes meaning over momentum. Echoes of Venus invites readers to consider how life should be valued when it can be designed, altered, or replaced, and whether progress without empathy can ever be considered success.

Gift of the Amulet

To save humanity from being consigned to oblivion and to prevent war between elves and men, Eltanin, the first and greatest wizard there ever was, performed a terrible ritual that shattered the one world into two. For 20,000 years the two dimensions, unknown to each other, existed side by side. Aralia, home to the elfin race known as the Ferrishyn, and Earth, home to humanity are both weakening. On Aralia, Magick is fading and will extinguish unless the two worlds are reunited. On Earth, hidden to humanity, the Clave, a council of dark wizards hell bent on control, would prevent the worlds from being healed. But Eltanin left a prophecy that one would come, the Son of Luminance who would restore the worlds. Now young Azriel, exiled to Earth and unaware of his destiny, must discover who he is and learn the secrets of the dragon elementals before he can reunite Earth and Aralia. Azriel, the descendant of Eltanin, must unleash his true potential as a sorcerer and heal the worlds, for if he does not, there will be no other to fulfill the prophecy.

Dragon Lord

As time grows short and the appointed date of the ritual approaches, Azriel must release the Dragon Elementals from their eon’s long imprisonment otherwise the ritual to unite the worlds will fail. Meanwhile, his mother, Abelene, has been held captive by Rastaban and the Clave. To make matters worse, Azriel must face the Dark Dragon, Lord of Death before he can reach the fullness of his power. Azriel and his companions, Camille, Jasper, Albert, and a host of others known as the Order of the Ankh must prepare for a showdown with the Clave. In order to do so, Azriel must also solve the riddle of immortality by creating the Lapis Occultus, the substance of power. To complicate matters, Azriel and his friends are raising a baby dragon who insists that Azriel too is a dragon. But Azriel also learns a dark secret about Abelene’s past that threatens to derail his rise to full empowerment. Help, however, is always there for the asking from unexpected sources and places. What Azriel thinks are enemies perhaps are not, and if used properly, could lead to ultimate victory.

Equilibrium

The time of the conjunction draws near. Azriel and the Order of the Ankh are ready to perform the ritual that will reunite the two shattered worlds to one, but no one could have predicted the end result. The new reunited world poses its own challenges as Azriel takes on the rule of Aralia. The new king, with Camille as his queen, must prevent a hidden evil from corrupting his people. Azriel and Camille must face a peril that could forever change them, but Abeline also has her own heartbreak and burden to bear. In this startling conclusion, the world faces its ultimate challenge, and it’s Azriel’s task to protect humanity and Ferrishyn alike from a war that could bring about the destruction of the world.
